Who we are:

Welcome to the Community Garden Project of Round Rock, TX!

Unity Park Community Garden is now open!

If you've driven by Unity Park CG lately you will see that it is not as ready as we would have liked to have it by the time Spring planting season rolled around. We've decided, however, to go ahead and open the garden for you folks that just can't wait to get started!

The application packet request is posted HERE.

Click HERE for a layout of the garden.

If you are interested in opportunities to help us build the garden, watch for Volunteer Day announcements on this website.

For information on sponsoring the garden, please see our Sponsorship page

I ate lunch today at Taco Deli (yummy yummy!) and they had a BIG sign up saying they are now buying their eggs from a local farm in Gonzales. Yay!   According to their website, they also buy local tomatoes, squash, portabella mushrooms, Thunder Hear…

Not that you'll be able to plant it this week, but if you LOVE rhubarb (like I do!) we found some at Home Depot in RR yesterday.

I agree with you - butter is best! And one extra bonus - if you buy cream from local cows and make it yourself - or just buy local butter - you KNOW what's in it! Unlike all those other oils we've talked about.

Butter. If you're baking sweets...butter. Anything else makes you a communist and unpatriotic. Course, I just like it. Andrew Weil is a good source of info, there's even a dvd available through netflix. Generally speaking I like olive oil for most…
